Kamisama

While Madman Entertainment have opened up their May 2013 pre-orders, information is also trickling in about what they may have in store for us this coming June. Announced during the Adelaide Supanova 2012 – one of the titles you may expect to see on shelves during the month is Kamisama Dolls, which recently received an English dubbed release in North America by Sentai Filmworks and is headed our way on DVD.

The series collection will include the full 13 episode series spread over 325 Minutes. Possible extra goodies include shorts segments, Japanese promos and commercials and textless songs.

Looking for a new future, haunted by the past

When Kyohei Kuga moves to Tokyo to escape the strictures of life in a small town, he thinks he’s left his old life behind. But when he discovers a bloody corpse, he also discovers that the past isn’t so easily left behind – especially when the past is as unusual as Kyohei’s. You see, back in his home town, Kyohei was a “seki”: an individual able to control “kakashi,” ancient wooden gods capable of incredible feats, with his mind. Now it seems that there’s a kakashi loose in Tokyo, and it just may be up to Kyohei to stop it and its seki.
