Hanabee Entertainment usually have something up their sleeves for Supanova, whether it is special guest stars, Toradora themed maid cafes or something along those lines. To set themselves apart from previous expos, the company have teamed up with Supanova to host a brand new event titled NeuroMania! The Anime & Pop Culture Challenge.

The company will be holding quiz events periodically throughout Saturday and Sunday at their stand, with three rounds per quiz pitting you against your fellow Pop Culture aficionados with entertaining and challenging questions which will decide the worthy from the crowd!

From four Quiz Challenges there will be only four contestants standing to participate in the Grand Final on Stage NeuroMania! Anime & Pop Culture Challenge! A surprise celebrity guest will lead each team of two into the finale on Sunday.  Below is the provided information on the final event:

Round One:

  • Buzz-In-Ga
  • A round of general knowledge Pop Culture questions to get the show started.

Round Two:

  • The Dorn of Time
  • A picture of Michael Dorn’s face (Lieutenant-Commander Worf, from Star Trek TNG & DS9) obscures the faces of characters from famous film scenes. Teams must buzz in and correctly identify the characters and movie.

Round Three:

  • Anime, Anime not…
  • Both teams are shown a short clip from an Anime TV series or movie. They are then asked questions about the clip, testing how well they were paying attention.

Round Four:

  • Fictionary
  • The Team Captain must draw pictures (without using words) to describe a Movie, Book or Television series title. Like Pictionary, but with Pop Culture titles.

Round Five:

  • Theme me up, Scotty.
  • Samples of famous songs and theme tunes from notable Pop Culture shows are played. Teams buzz in and must name the TV series or Movie it comes from.

Round Six:

  • The Final Frontier
  • The final round of the show. The teams go head-to-head once again to determine who has the greatest knowledge of Pop Culture.
