North American video game and anime publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have today opened pre-orders for their next anime premium edition release of Hanasaku Iroha: Blossoms for Tomorrow Volume 1, which is set for release on the 9th April 2013.
The set, which will come at a price of $55.99 will come with the first half of the 26 episode series on both DVD and Blu-ray. As this is a Premium Edition, it will come with all the usual goodies you would expect to see – DVD and Blu-ray discs stored in slimcases, a 36-page hardcover colour artbook, a couple of bonus on-disc extras and a BIG artbox to store them in. For those who pre-order through the official NIS America online store, while stocks last they will also be throwing in a Kissuiso Hot Spring Towel.
When Ohana’s mother flees with her boyfriend to avoid paying his debts, Ohana is sent off to live with her grandmother, who owns the hot spring inn, Kissuiso. Upon arriving, Ohana is put to work at the inn. Thrust into a life where the customers always come first, she struggles to find her place at the inn and fit in with her fellow coworkers.
