Hanabee Entertainment, a newish Australian publisher of anime and machinima (and the cause of an excessively long queue at Supanova) have today announced during a panel that they have acquired the license to publish Bakemonogatari in Australia – allowing Aussies to breathe a sigh of relief that they won’t have to import Aniplex of America’s pricey limited edition release.
The story centers on Koyomi Araragi, a third year high school student who has recently survived a vampire attack, and finds himself mixed up with all kinds of apparitions: gods, ghosts, myths, and spirits.
