Funimation Entertainment, the North American localizer and publisher of anime also announced during its New York Comic Con panel that they had acquired the broadcast, home entertainment, video-on-demand and thatrical rights to Toriko, the next anime adventure from TOEI Animation – the team behind Dragon Ball Z and One Piece.
The first dual-language DVD is set for release on the 8th January 2013 with subsequent volumes to be released on DVD throughout 2013.
