Madman Entertainment lied on their Facebook page in saying that they had eight announcements to make at this years Manifest anime convention in Melbourne, Australia. This was actually a really good lie on the behalf of the Australian anime publishers as they came equipped with a grand total of nine of them… oh and the announcement that Star Driver will be debuting on Channel 31 Melbourne from the 3rd September @ 11PM with a Japanese Dub…. and another announcement that they will be premiering Oreimo at a date to be confirmed.
Now without further ado, the announcements:
Code Geass: Akito the Exiled
The brand new OVA series will be coming to Australian shores soon! Taking place at around the same time as the original CODE GEASS storyline but set in the European Union. Akito is part of a special forces unit of the E.U and must fight off an invading Britannian army. Full release details are to be finalised.
While this has very little relevance to Madman Entertainment’s release, Tales of Xillia by Namco Bandai is set to receive DLC costumes for the games characters based on this release.
The story takes place in Europe in the year a.t.b. 2017. A Knightmare unit made of boys and girls from Area Eleven are thrown into a military operation with a 5% chance of survival. They must rescue an allied unit left behind on the European warfront.
Naruto Shippuden the Movie: The Will of Fire
The third NARUTO SHIPPUDEN movie! This will be released in December on both DVD and Blu-Ray
Inuyasha: The Final Act
After much delay, we are finally able to bring you the exciting conclusion to the INUYASHA series! This will be released across two half season sets in 2013.
Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippou and their neko-mata friend Kirara, are now in the final leg of their quest to put an end to the elusive demon, Naraku and all of the chaos and evil he has caused, and to ultimately undo the unfortunate karma of the Jewel of Four Souls. Their journey, however, will not be easy as their remaining enemies put out all the stops to make sure that they do not accomplish their goal.
This TV Anime depicts Volumes 36-56 (end) of the Inuyasha manga. The story continues from the last moment seen in Inuyasha’s original anime. Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku and Shippou are now in the definitive quest to beat Naraku and the evil he has created and absorbed, they don’t lose hope since their future depends on it, but the path isn’t easy nor short so they will go through life threatening situations and must put their friendship and love on the line with wisdom to know who their friends and foes are to succeed.
Eureka Seven AO
The brand new EUREKA SEVEN series! The story is set on Okinawa’s isolated island of Iwado, which has seen a growing movement advocating a return to an autonomous government. Ao Fukai, a 13-year-old boy with a missing father, lives on the island with an old doctor named Toshio and is about to enter middle school. Ao’s mother was taken away a decade ago by unknown individuals. Naru Arata, Ao’s 13-year-old childhood friend and the story’s heroine, lives with her father, older sister, and grandmother. She has a “Yuta” power awakened within her due to an incident when she was young. A mysterious entity called “Secret” suddenly appears and launches an attack on the Scub Coral lifeform on the island. Ao launches a certain military FP called “Nirvash” aboard a Japanese military transport in his fervent desire to protect the island.
Rurouni Kenshin: New Kyoto Arc
Told from the perspective of Misao Makimachi, this alternate retelling of the Kyoto arc chronicles the adventures of wandering swordsman Kenshin Himura and his quest in putting a stop to the evil Makoto Shishio and his plot to take over Japan.
