Funimation Entertainment Announce English Dub Cast for Steins;Gate

-

Back in November 2011, Funimation Entertainment released Chaos;Head to the North American audience. This was based on the first visual novel in 5pb/Nitroplus’s series of Science Adventure games. The second of which is Steins;Gate which has already received an anime release in Japan and will see a release in North America by Funimation at a date to be determined. The company is slated to be premiering the English dubbed release at Otakon alongside a Q&A session with the cast (Does suck being over here in Australia as we don’t get to see too many of those), but before then they have now officially announced the English Dub Cast as the following:

Okabe – J. Michael Tatum
Makise – Trina Nishimura
Mayuri – Jackie Ross
Daru – Tyson Rinehart
Suzuha – Cherami Leigh
John Titor – Patrick Seitz
Braun – Christopher R. Sabat
Nae – Brina Palencvia
Ruka – Lindsay Seidel
Moeka – Jessica Cavanagh

In addition, the ADR Director and Line Producer has been confirmed as Colleen Clinkenbeard (Her other roles in this capacity include Moon Phase, Okami-san and Her Seven Companions and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt), Head Writer as John Burgmeier and ADR Engineer as Stephen Hoff.

The microwave is a time machine. Okarin proved it. The self-anointed mad scientist nuked bananas into some gelatinous version of the future. Or maybe it was the past. Doesn’t matter. No one thought he could do it, but he did it anyway. He sent text messages through time to people he knew. To his friends. Some of them female. Pretty. He should have been more careful. He should have stopped. Tampering with the time-space continuum attracts unwelcome attention. Clandestine organizations of nefarious origins take notice. SERN. Always watching. Okarin knows; he can feel their eyes. That’s why he started the top secret Future Gadget Lab. To stop them. You should join. We get to wear lab coats, and it’s dangerous. Danger is exciting because it’s deadly. The microwave is a time machine.

Steins;Gate is a surreal viewing experience that’s an absolute must watch for all fans of sci-fi.
