So perhaps I lost you at Madman Entertainment announcing their acquisition of Cardcaptor Sakura (Uncut), but that is not all they have recently announced. The company have also announced their acquisition of Rozen Maiden: Ouvertüre, an OVA series which looks at the past of the Rozen Maiden dolls and how season one “villain” Suigintou first met Shinku.
This is also due for release in July 2012 and from the sound of it will only be released on DVD. The series was initially dubbed and distributed by Sentai Filmworks a few months ago using the same studio / voice cast as the original two seasons and will finally be hitting Australian / New Zealand shores. Madman Entertainment have already, and still have in stock the two seasons of Rozen Maiden.
