Aniplex of America today announced that they will be holding an exclusive screeing of the first episode of their upcoming hit anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica in English. While most of the companies most recent trailers have been georestricted just to the US regions, this will enable those from each the US, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan to view the first episode “Episode 1: I first met her in a dream… Or something” in English through their Niconico Live Streaming channel on the 10th February 2012 at 20:30PST.
This is the first time that fans will get to hear their favorite Madoka Magica characters in English. To celebrate, before the episode there will be a special greeting from the English Voice cast for Madoka, Homura and Kyubey. Hideki Goto, president of Anime Business of Aniplex of America had this to say:
It’s wonderful to share the opportunity to watch the English version of Madoka together with not only North America but also in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. This will be a great chance for Anime fans to re-visit and discover this great show.
