As usual, every month Madman Entertainment runs a contest usually surrounding some form of art style – whether it is drawing, designing motivational posters or just like this months contest… photography. To celebrate Studio Ghibli’s latest masterpiece to receive an English dub Arrietty hitting cinemas this week, they have decided to get you to get your camera out and hone up on your Photoshop skills as you shall be making yourself bigger or smaller in the Arrietty Sense of Scale contest.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Get inspired by Studio Ghibli’s wonderful new film ARRIETTY. Take us into your secret world with a photo that plays with scale.You can use holiday snaps where you held a famous landmark pinched between your fingers or you can Photoshop yourself riding a bee through the garden! Whatever the setting, share your images with us and go in the draw to win a great Studio Ghibli prize!The latest masterwork from the Academy Award®-winning Studio Ghibli, Arrietty is in cinemas Jan 12th.

HOW TO ENTER
Upload your art with a brief description of the scene, where it was taken and what tiny/giant people or creatures you’ve used in your photograph. Images entered should be a TIFF or JPEG file, at least 10cm x 15cm at 300dpi.

PRIZES

The photograph judged as the best will receive an amazing ARRIETTY/Studio Ghibli prize pack comprising of:

 

First Prize:
An original Japanese edition of THE ART OF KARI-GURASHI artbook and your choice of FIVE Studio Ghibli films on DVD or Blu-Ray.

 

Five Runners up will receive:
THE SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY PICTURE BOOK.
