New Anime/Manga Titles for July 2011 in Australia

I haven’t had much in terms of June releases so far, with most of the titles being a tad delayed in arriving, however there is no reasoning to withhold this article. You all should know the drill by now, the * means that I am interested in reviewing the series, and I will as always include an image and description of every title. If you feel up to it, please comment on what purchases you are interested in getting and I will try and prioritize reviews to the responses I get.

IN AD 200X, World War 3 began… All of the Earth’s cities became targets of bombings and were bathed in frightful red flames. Half a century has passed since then. The contaminated former epicenter is still isolated from the city of Tokyo creating a hole in the middle of Japan commonly known as the Black Spot. As time passed, people began to inhabit this wasteland. They were deemed unnecessary by those who lived in cities. Among these people were the ones who could command strange abilities – fire, wind, gravity… they had the ability to control these supernatural powers. Thus, those who possessed Fragments were regarded as….THE NEEDLESS! – Check out my review of Part 1 HERE!

They train together, live together, eat together, and spend their nights disemboweling demons with sacred blades together. Tragedy strikes when Yomi is possessed by a dark spirit and Kagura must choose between raising her weapon against the eerily familiar face of ultimate evil or watching her flesh and blood slaughter innocent citizens.
