While ATLUS USA have been heavily promoting their English localised release of Vanillaware’s Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, the one thing they have not mentioned is when or if a PAL region release will be made available. Although it shouldn’t come as too much surprise, Nippon Ichi Software America have recently confirmed that they will be handling the game in European markets (w/ Bandai Namco Entertainment Australia presumably to serve as the distributor in Australia and New Zealand).
Like North America, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will be released sometime in June 2016, and will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita as both physical and digital editions.
Available through select online retailers in Europe, NIS America will also be offering the “Storybook Edition” of Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. Identical to the North American edition (Albeit with a PAL region copy of the game), this set includes:
– PS4 version of the game.
– A 64-page hardcover art book, with full color renditions of the glorious Vanillaware art.
– A Potion Recipe t-shirt to remind you of the most basic alchemical recipes.
– A collector’s metal slipcase to house the game.
– Alice and Socrates art print.
– A premium outer box
