With still more than two weeks until their official English localised release of Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance begins rolling out onto store shelves, Nippon Ichi Software America have announced that a demo of the strategy RPG is now available for download via the PlayStation Store in North America and PAL regions.
This is an surprising decision for NIS America, who I don’t recall releasing too many demos before. This demo seeks to provide fans with a small taste of what to expect in the game’s final release, and includes the ability to transfer data from the demo to the final release.
The full game is set for release on October 6 in North America and October 9 in PAL regions. Disgaea 5 is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 video game console.
Disgaea 5 tells a tale of revenge, and of rebellion. As a new and terrible Overlord named Void Dark seeks to enslave the countless Netherworlds, one young demon has stood to end his reign—Killia. In Disgaea 5, lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels on their dark and dangerous path to vengeance. Filled with more over-the-top action and hilarious writing than ever before, Disgaea 5’s damage numbers are surely headed for the record books.
