Following their success in the first inaugural PS Plus Vote to Play survey, Ubisoft have announced that their adventure platformer video game Grow Home is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Store. As of posting, regular PlayStation Network members can pick up the game for $11.95 AUD, while PlayStation Plus subscribers can nab themselves a free digital copy for a limited time. At the moment, Grow Home is only available for purchase via the PlayStation Store as a digital download.
Developed by Ubisoft Reflections, Grow Home has players take on the role of BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), an excitable child-like robot sent on a mission to search the galaxy for a new species of plant that can save his home world. This is where the Star Plant comes into the picture. By growing and directing the giant Star Plant into a towering organic structure, players are able to reshape the planet and create landscapes that allow them to climb to great heights. Players just have to make sure they don’t make a wrong move when jumping… as it may be a long way down.
This PlayStation 4 edition is Grow Home’s first and currently only console release. This follows a PC release earlier this year.
