With preview sessions for Anything Goes beginning in the Lyric Theatre next Saturday, this ultimately means that the eight week run of Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre is due to have its final curtain call.

Final sessions for the stage musical are being held tomorrow, with a limited number of seats still available for the 1PM session. If you desire to watch this show but don’t wish to travel interstate to see it, this may be your last chance for some time to see it in Queensland.

After concluding the show tomorrow, the cast and crew will be moving the show to Perth, where it is set to begin at the Crown Theatre from August 1st 2015. Following its Perth leg, Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage will be moving to the Adelaide Festival Centre where shows are (now) set to begin in October 2015.

Having attended Dirty Dancing’s Opening Night at QPAC, I gave the show a respectable score of ★★★☆ out of five stars in my review. You can also read my interview with Mark Vincent, who is making his stage musical debut as Billy Kostecki, HERE.
