After their fairly disappointing teaser trailer for Just Cause 3 when it was first announced several months ago, Square Enix and developer Avalanche Studios have finally shared a sufficient first peek at the game’s new gameplay via a new trailer.
Using footage which they claim has been captured straight from actual gameplay, the video shows protagonist Rico Rodriguez unleashing his unique brand of chaos and destruction across the Mediterranean island paradise of Medici as he seeks to destroy General Di Ravello’s hold on power by any means necessary.
Coming in with a runtime just shy of one and a half minutes, don’t expect to see too much more than a peek at the final product. That being said, keep an eye out in the coming months leading to the game’s Holiday 2015 release for more information.
Developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Square Enix, Just Cause 3 is headed to current generation platforms (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One). There are no plans to support last generation systems.
