It is time to take control of Oscura once again and make your way through the gothic-styled Driftlands, with Surprise Attack Games and Melbourne-based developer Chocolate Liberation Front announcing their plans to release Oscura: Lost Light on February 24th 2015.
Following on from the 2014 smartphone/tablet game Oscura: Second Shadow, this sequel follows our accidental hero as he takes on the quest to bring light back to the Driftlands after inadvertently destroying the Aurora Stone – which plunges his home world into darkness. With the world plunged into perpetual darkness, players must navigate Oscura through the minimalistic yet deadly world that lies before them. While featuring the usual platform mechanics of jumping, running etc; this time around, Oscura is able to claim four power crystals which will allow him to build or destroy obstacles that stand in his way, defy gravity and slow down time.
Oscura: Second Shadow will be released on the PC, Mac and Linux platforms on February 24th.
