International visual novel localizer and publisher Sekai Project have confirmed that a December 29th 2014 release date for Nekopara Vol. 1 is now locked in, with work on the Steam edition now being complete. While it is currently not possible to pre-order just yet, you can download a demo and bookmark the game via its Steam page HERE.

This VN has been originally developed by NEKO WORKs, with their mascot characters Chocola and Vanilla serving as the title’s main heroines. The title implies that more than one volume is planned for release in the future, so expect to see even more from the Sekai Projects x NEKO WORKs collaboration should this instalment be successful.
Nekopara Vol. 1 is an all-ages friendly visual novel, just like many similar releases published on Steam. Denpasoft have noted that they are working in collaboration with NEKOWORKs to carry and distribute physical copies of the title. This physical edition will be based on the original Japanese 18+ eroge edition, without the removal of adult content (Thanks to Nyarlathotep for picking up the need for extra clarity).
In collaboration with NEKOWORKs we will be officially carrying physical copies of NEKOPARA Vol. 1!

Nekopara is an eroge(18+ Visual novel), but only the steam version is all-ages.
The physical copies Denpasoft will be distributing is the adult version.
Thanks for picking up the need for additional clarity on this! Post has been updated.
I’ll probably pick up the “All Ages port” of this game, I do like cat girls, however the height of the two main heroines is a bit of an issue for me.
