While I personally question just how well the action-adventure / first-person shooter mechanics of Bioshock will translate to a touchscreen, this questioning does little to change the fact that 2K have confirmed the original Bioshock game will be released on iOS devices as a “premium priced mobile game” later this year.
They claim that the iOS port will bring the complete experience of the original action-adventure / first-person shooter, while offering optimized touch controls and full Made for iPhone game controller support. Bioshock will feature support for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, although may not run on all older devices.
