Spike Chunsoft are set to bring a new Danganronpa experience exclusively for the PlayStation Vita, this time leaving the class trials and focusing on the events in the real world following the “The Tragedy”. The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that the game, titled Danganronpa: Another Episode, will be available for purchase in Japan from September 25th, 2014.
Another Episode puts you in control of Komaru Naegi, the younger sister of original series protagonist Makoto Naegi. Having survived the events of “The Tragedy” so far, she now begins to fight against the onslaught of Monokuma using a special ‘word-shooting’ microphone in collaboration with other characters including Genocide Jill / Genocider Syo who has been featured in promotional material since the game was first announced.
The magazine has also confirmed that at least one of the antagonists in the game will be a group of Monokuma-mask wearing young kids known as the “Warriors of Hope” who each embody a classic RPG class. The voice cast for each of these characters have been confirmed as:
- Dai Oomon (Megumi Han)
- Kotoko Utsugi (Kazusa Aranami)
- Tarou Enei (Sumire Uesaka)
- Nagisa Shingetsu (Mariya Ise)
- Monica (Aya Hirano)
