In order to cash in on their upcoming theatrical release of Maleficent on May 29th, Disney Interactive Games have confirmed the launch of their new app Maleficent Free Fall. Targeting the widest audience possible, it is now available through the digital distribution channels for the iOS, Android, Windows Phone and App-Supporting Windows devices.
As the image above clearly indicates, the app is more or less a Maleficent themed edition of Match 3, with the goal of switching and sliding the board of enchanted gemstones to create matches of 3 or more while triggering cascading combos and conquering objectives. To build upon the theme, players will be able to cast Maleficent’s magic to instantly vanish gemstones that stand in their way or rearrange the entire board with the raven Diaval.
