Kyoto-Set Detective Adventure Dark Alley Out Now On Steam, PS5 And Xbox

-

Dark Alley sends a detective to Kyoto on a case that quickly goes wrong. The detective adventure from solo developer CheesecakeGames, published by JanduSoft, is out now on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. The Xbox version supports Xbox Play Anywhere, letting players carry their investigation between console and PC.

Players take on the role of Detective Thomas Bennett, who is sent to Kyoto to investigate the disappearance of British detective Edward Hale. What starts out as a simple case soon becomes far more dangerous, with the trail of clues leading Bennett through the temples and narrow streets of Gion, hidden clubs and traditional ryokans, and pointing towards the Yakuza, although there is more to the case than it first seems.

Dark Alley is a cinematic adventure built around exploration, observation and storytelling. Bennett will meet a range of characters across Kyoto, and getting to know them is key to gathering information, forming alliances and working out who can be trusted. Observing carefully, listening and asking uncomfortable questions are all part of solving the case.
