Go-Go Town! is heading to store shelves. Silver Lining Interactive and Prideful Sloth have announced that the town builder will receive a physical release worldwide on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on 26 February 2027. On Nintendo Switch 2, the full game will be included on the cartridge, so it can be played offline straight away without a large download.
Pre-orders are open now through Silver Lining Direct and local retailers. The PlayStation 5 version is priced at £29.99, €34.99 or $34.99, while the Nintendo Switch 2 version is priced at £44.99, €49.99 or $49.99.
In Go-Go Town!, players take on the role of mayor of a run-down coastal town and set out to turn it into a busy tourist destination. Getting around can be done by unicycle, in a small pickup truck or on a skateboard, while players build shops, decorate streets, unlock unusual attractions and draw in tourists ready to spend. Keeping the streets clean and the stands stocked is all part of the job.
Players lay down roads, set up commercial districts and design their own shops and town layout. As the town grows, local residents called Townies can be hired to gather resources, manage stock, drive delivery trucks and collect rubbish, helping the town run smoothly.
The game can be played solo or with up to four players in local split-screen or online co-op, whether that means working together on a large resort or racing tricycles through the centre of town.
