Wuthering Waves Version 3.6, titled Lamplight in Mirage, Sword’s Resolve in Heart, is available now, introducing new story chapters, Resonators, weapons, Echoes, events and a range of gameplay and performance updates. The update has rolled out onto all servers across all supported platforms (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android).
The game’s main story continues through Chapter IV Act III, Song of the Heart Sword, and Chapter IV Segue, The Nethermancer’s Requiem. Players can also obtain the new Glint of Clouds weapon during Phase I, followed by Thousandfold Deliverance in Phase II.
The Version 3.6 content rollout is divided across two phases. Phase I is now underway with new Resonator Qingxiao available alongside the returning Denia, while Jingran will join the roster when Phase II begins on 10 September 2026. Additional character related content includes Qingxiao’s Cloudbloom accessory and Jingran’s Snowpaw accessory. Version 3.6 also introduces the Calamity Effigy Echo, Phantom Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis and a new Tactical Hologram encounter featuring Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis.
Several limited time events are included throughout the update, with Resonance Sim Realm, If Dreams Still Reverberate, Second Coming of Solaris: Coded Deception, The Strings Remember, Wuthering Exploration: Fogveil Pagoda and Gifts of Drifting Mist among the activities planned for Version 3.6.
A number of quality of life changes have also been introduced. Echo equipment recommendations and previews have been refined, while build suggestions have been improved to provide additional guidance when configuring characters. Players can also unlock new Expedition Motorbike backgrounds and make use of expanded sharing options for 5-Star Convene pulls, Gallery content and completed challenges.
On PC, Version 3.6 upgrades support to NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation. The update also includes underlying development improvements intended to enhance performance across all supported platforms.
Mailbox functionality has received several changes as well, increasing capacity to 200 messages and expanding attachment limits. A new Mail Collection feature has also been added to help prevent important messages from being removed through bulk deletion.
