SEGA has outlined its plans for Gamescom 2026, confirming that five upcoming titles will be available to play at its booth in Hall 7 of Cologne’s Koelnmesse. Running from 26 August to 30 August 2026, the booth will feature individual themed areas for each game, alongside photo opportunities, challenges and merchandise giveaways.
Alien: Isolation 2 will make its European public hands on debut during the event. Visitors will be able to play the game’s prologue within a booth designed around the series’ claustrophobic, low fidelity science fiction atmosphere.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour will also be playable, giving attendees an early opportunity to race through one of the five cities planned for the finished game. The new entry will take the series around the world while retaining the fast paced driving associated with earlier Crazy Taxi titles. SEGA will also display the Yellow Jack taxi for photographs.
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN will receive its first public hands on demonstration at Gamescom. Its booth will recreate an underground jazz club, while a stage themed photo area will allow visitors to become part of the setting. STRANGER THAN HEAVEN producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto and director Mikinobu Abe are also scheduled to attend the event for fan signing sessions.
Western players will also be able to try Persona 4 Revival, the upcoming remake of the role playing game. Its dedicated area will be modelled after the Junes shopping centre, with visitors invited to submit messages for display on the booth’s live TV Stack.
Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000 will round out the five main playable titles and make its hands on debut at the event. The demonstration will include three gameplay scenarios featuring the Space Marines, presented within a booth inspired by the game’s war torn universe.
Visitors will receive a physical SEGA passport that can be stamped after exploring each of the five themed areas. Anyone who collects all five stamps will receive a limited edition SEGA token.
SEGA’s free play area will feature several additional releases and updates. Metaphor: ReFantazio will be playable on Nintendo Switch 2, while Total War: WARHAMMER III will showcase its Lords of the End Times downloadable content.
The area will also include the latest Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds content, including the recently released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack. SEGA previously announced a second Season Pass for the racing game earlier in the northern hemisphere summer. SONIC PICO PARK will also be available, offering cooperative multiplayer sessions for Gamescom attendees.
