Arknights is marking its 6.5th anniversary with the launch of the limited-time Side Story event, First of a Thousand Autumns, alongside new Operators, login rewards, outfits and gameplay activities. The anniversary event is available until 13 August 2026 at 3:59 am (UTC-7).
First of a Thousand Autumns is divided into three stages: Record of an Autumn’s End, Forgotten Prospect of Spring and Unwritten Chapters of Yan. Players can earn Draft of History by clearing event stages and completing Proofreading of the Past missions. The event currency can be exchanged through the Sky Mirror Teahouse for rewards including Tokens for the free 5-star Operator Ju, pieces from the Sky Mirror Pavilion Reception Hall Furniture set and additional items.
A special login event titled Ashes to Ashes, Ages on Ages will also run from 16 July until 30 July 2026 at 3:59 am (UTC-7). During this period, players can claim a Moon Night Homecoming Headhunting Permit and use it for a free 10-roll in the limited Ashes to Ashes, Ages on Ages Headhunting banner.
One free roll will also be available each day during the event period. The daily roll refreshes at 4:00 am (UTC-7) and cannot be accumulated for later use. The 2026 Festival Sign-In event will run across the same period. Players who log in for a total of 10 days can receive rewards including event-exclusive furniture, Module Materials and Emergency Sanity Concentrate.
The anniversary introduces limited 6-star Specialist Operator Wang, whose combat abilities focus on placing weiqi stones across the battlefield. His Mold Stones talent allows linked stones to activate when enemies enter their tiles, while Every Move Anticipated increases the damage dealt by stones in the same straight chain and allows them to ignore a portion of enemy RES.
Ch’en the Dawnstreak also joins the roster as a new 6-star Guard who deals Arts damage. Her All-Seeing Eye talent allows her attacks to deal Weakness damage, with the damage type changing depending on the target. To Know Time’s Flow restores HP based on her ATK while she is not taking damage and allows her to dodge the next incoming attack.
New 5-star Medic Taraxacum can restore allied HP and Take Off. His Anchor Dandelion talent provides flying allies within his attack range with Sanctuary while also increasing their Block.
Ju will be available as the event’s free 5-star Operator. The Sniper prioritises the heaviest enemy, while his Dogmatist talent leaves enemies at 1 HP when he would otherwise deal lethal damage. The affected enemy is inflicted with Critically Wounded, granting SP to the attacker who defeats it.
Several new outfits will arrive through the Outfit Store. The 0011 Collection will add A Gallant Dream for Ling, Hazy Jade for Dusk, Clear Morning View for Yu, By the Lamplight for Surfer and An Opera of Flowers for Philae. The Unveiling of Devotion Series will also receive Half-sweet Strawberry for Breeze and Ribbons of Promise for Beanstalk.
A selection of previous outfits will return, including Spring Feast for Shu, Youthful Journey for Zuo Le, Almond Platter for Almond, Prairie Pals for Bena, Alighting for Chongyue, Heavenly Mirage for Lin, Saturated Within Rain for Honeyberry, The Land With Me for Highmore, Unfettered Freedom for Nian, Everything Is a Miracle for Dusk and It Does Wash the Strings for Ling. Snowy Plains in Words for Pozëmka will also return as part of the Vitafield Rewilder Series Classics.
