HoYoverse has outlined its plans for gamescom 2026, confirming that five of its titles will be represented across an approximately 660 square metre exhibition space. HoYoverse will occupy Hall 6.1, Booth B030 from 26 to 30 August 2026.
The showcase will include their trifecta of mainline 3D games: Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, alongside the gamescom debuts of two upcoming titles, Honkai: Nexus Anima and Petit Planet. Each game will receive its own themed area, with demos, activities, merchandise and live entertainment planned throughout the event.
The area for Honkai: Nexus Anima will give attendees an opportunity to try the creature-collecting adventure strategy game following its recent multi-platform Evolution Test. The latest entry in the Honkai series takes place in a town where humans and creatures known as Anima live alongside one another. Its gamescom area will draw on the game’s nature-inspired setting, with environmental displays, signs of Anima activity and a large Umpurrella installation. The playable demonstration will cover several of its central systems, including collecting Anima, exploring the world and participating in Nexus Battles. Limited-edition Anima-themed items will also be available through activities at the booth.
Meanwhile the areas for Petit Planet, HoYoverse’s first cosy galactic life simulation game, will make its international exhibition debut under the theme “Connect the Vibe”. Visitors will be able to play a PC demo set around the Starsea and take on the role of a Planet Tender responsible for developing a planet of their own. The demonstration will include farming, construction, Starsea exploration and social activities with the game’s fuzzy Neighbours. Players who finish the demo and participate in other activities will also be eligible for exclusive gifts. Starsea racer and Neighbour Elsasani is scheduled to appear for meet-and-greet sessions. Oumuamua will also move around the venue, interacting with attendees and directing visitors towards the Petit Planet exhibition.
Genshin Impact’s zone will focus on Snezhnaya, with its area recreating elements of the region’s railway system and Statue of The Seven. Attendees will be able to experience recent in-game content and test their knowledge of Snezhnaya. Activities within the area will offer opportunities to receive Snezhnaya-themed merchandise, including magnets and badges.
Honkai: Star Rail‘s area will present a Planarcadia-themed experience following the release of Version 4.4 this week. The exhibition will reference the Phantasmoon Games, with a large Phantasmoon installation suspended above the area and appearances from wispae, imagenae and the furbo journalists. Pom-Pom and a group of cosplayers will interact with visitors, while Planarcadia-themed activities and a selection of merchandise will also be available.
Zenless Zone Zero will mark its second anniversary with an urban-themed exhibition led by a floating recreation of Eous. Alongside opportunities to experience game content, the area will feature a Zenless Zone Zero EP vinyl listening session, a Bangboo display wall, large posters and photography sessions with cosplayers. A spending event is planned for the Zenless Zone Zero merchandise area, where limited-edition mystery bags will be available to purchase.
A separate interactive section will host cosplayer runway shows, competitive activities and trivia quizzes, with mystery guests expected to make appearances. Attendees will also be able to obtain items including card holders, holographic tickets and button badges.
