Nippon Ichi Software America has today confirmed they will be offering a console demo of their upcoming Happinet developed SRPG, BRIGANDINE ABYSS, which will be available to download for free on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S starting 30 July, giving players an early look at the strategy RPG before its full release on consoles and PC in August. This follows the previous Steam release of the demo.
The demo will include the first two seasons of the Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will story campaigns. Players will be able to follow Largo as he investigates why dragons are being turned into servants of evil or join Garnet as her company stands against the Abyssloa Empire. The demo will also introduce core systems such as monster recruitment, troop management, quests and strategic planning across the Organization Phase, before moving into hexagonal grid-based battles during the Invasion Phase. Keep in mind however, that any save data from the demo will not carry across to the full version.
Set in a new world, BRIGANDINE ABYSS takes place hundreds of years after the original Abyssloa Empire was defeated through the power of the arcane Brigandine. With a new Abyssloa Empire now rising, players must manage resources, build armies, command monsters and fight across one of six story campaigns.
