MachineGames and Lucasfilm Games have officially expanded the reach of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle with its worldwide launch on the Nintendo Switch 2. The title is available immediately as a physical game card at retail outlets and digitally via the Nintendo eShop. This release adds to the game’s existing availability across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Story-wise, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle bridges the gap between the cinematic timelines of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The gameplay mechanics focus on a mix of linear set pieces, archaeological puzzle-solving, and hand-to-hand combat systems.
The new Nintendo Switch 2 iteration leverages the specific capabilities of the hardware, allowing users to play the game in a portable format. The port also integrates motion controls designed to immerse players directly into the action as they handle the sneaking, combat, and environmental navigation elements of the campaign – or at least as good as can be mustered with such peripherals.
Players looking to expand their experience can also look toward additional content. A standalone story DLC expansion, titled Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants, is available as a separate purchase and includes the protagonist’s Temple of Doom outfit. Furthermore, players across all platforms can now gain access to a complimentary digital bonus, the Shanghai Club Outfit.
