Visual novel publisher MangaGamer has announced that pre-orders are now open for Eve of the 12 Months. Developed by the Japanese studio minori, the title is scheduled for a digital release on 11 March 2026.
The game comes from the same developers behind ef – a fairy tale of the two, eden*, Supipara and Trinoline. Consistent with previous minori titles released by MangaGamer, this visual novel will feature Japanese voice acting and English text. It has also been confirmed that the release will retain mosaic censorship, distinct from the publisher’s usual approach to uncensored content.
Eve of the 12 Months is an adult visual novel set during Christmas Eve. The narrative follows protagonist Furuhata Naoto, who encounters a mysterious girl while running an errand. Although Naoto has no recollection of meeting her, she appears to know him, setting off a series of intertwined stories. The plot focuses on three distinct motivations: a wish to hold onto shared joy, a desire for personal gain, and a determination to achieve a specific goal at any cost.
Production values for the title include the use of lip-syncing technology and specific visual effects designed to enhance the presentation. The artwork has been created by returning minori artists Shouna Mitsuishi, Takasaki Maco and Yuzuna Hiyo.
Customers who purchase the game during the pre-order period will receive a 10% discount.
