Spike Chunsoft, Inc. has officially opened pre-orders for Danganronpa 2×2, the latest entry in the high-speed deductive action franchise. The title is scheduled for a North American and European release in 2026, with launch platforms confirmed as Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.

Alongside the standard release, the publisher has detailed a limited edition titled the Danganronpa 2×2 Psycho Tropical Vacation Package. This collector’s set is housed in a clamshell-style outer box and includes the following physical items on either the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 or PC (with a printed game card):

- Figures: A set of 3-inch figures featuring Monokuma and Monomi, produced by Kidrobot.
- Soundtrack: The Danganronpa 2×2 Original Soundtrack (OST).
