Idea Factory International has released a free demo for their upcoming RPG, Calamity Angels: Special Delivery, on Steam. This digital trial arrives just days before the game is scheduled to launch physically and digitally on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe on 17 February.
While the console versions are set for imminent release, the full Steam version is currently listed for a broader 2026 launch window. When the PC version does arrive, it will support English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language formats.
The newly released demo allows players to select between two variations of the protagonist, Yuri (Type A or Type B), and introduces the core cast of “Cutie Angels,” which includes Suliya, Somnia, Ivris, Numero, and Selma. The trial content spans the first two episodes of the narrative: Episode 1: “The First Delivery” and Episode 2: “Of Ruins and Murtamars.”
From a gameplay perspective, the demo provides access to the battle command system and the request board. It also introduces the mechanics behind using Relic Weapons against the game’s primary antagonists, the Omoikurai.
Idea Factory International has also confirmed that two of their titles will be featured in the upcoming Steam Next Fest. Starting 23 February 2026, users can access demos for both Calamity Angels: Special Delivery and the action platformer Ariana and the Elder Codex.
