Following the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, Capcom has released significant updates regarding three of its major upcoming titles. Players can now access playable demos for both the sci-fi adventure Pragmata and the RPG Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2.
Pragmata
A “Sketchbook” demo for the sci-fi action-adventure game Pragmata is now available for download on consoles. This trial version introduces players to the game’s setting—a cold lunar research station in the near future. The narrative follows spacefarer Hugh and an android named Diana as they attempt to return to Earth. Their escape is complicated by the station’s AI, which has classified the duo as threats and deployed robotic enemies to stop them.
The demo is designed to showcase the game’s combat mechanics, which blend hacking and shooting elements. Capcom has indicated that the “Sketchbook” demo contains hidden features intended to encourage multiple playthroughs.
Pragmata is scheduled for a full release on 24 April 2026. Pre-orders are currently open and include cosmetic bonuses: a Neo Bushido costume for Hugh and a Neo Kunoichi costume for Diana.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Fans of the turn-based RPG spin-off series can also download a trial version of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection starting today. This title is set centuries after the events of the “Rift War” in the land of Vermeil, where monsters face extinction and the natural order is deteriorating.
The demo allows players to experience the opening chapters of the game. It includes the character creator, allowing users to design their protagonist, and introduces new battle systems such as the “Wyvernsoul Gauge” and “Synchro Rush.” Additionally, players can try out Ranger duties like “Habitat Restoration.”
Save data from this trial version can be transferred to the full game upon its release on 13 March 2026. Those who pre-order the title will receive the Skyscale Queen Layered Armour for the character Eleanor.
Resident Evil Requiem
With the launch date fast approaching, Capcom also showcased new gameplay footage for Resident Evil Requiem. This ninth mainline entry in the survival horror franchise features two protagonists: the returning agent Leon S. Kennedy and a new character, FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft.
A key feature revealed for this title is the ability to switch freely between first-person and third-person perspectives during gameplay.
Resident Evil Requiem will launch on 27 February 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
