Square Enix has launched the latest seasonal event for Final Fantasy XIV Online, bringing Valentione’s Day back to Eorzea. The event is currently live and is scheduled to run until 17 February 2026.
Players wishing to participate must travel to Old Gridania and locate the NPC Astrid at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre (X:10.2 Y:9.4). The starting quest is titled “The Icing on the Cake”. To accept this mission, players must ensure their character is at least Level 15 and has previously completed the Main Scenario Quest “It’s Probably Pirates” (This is achievable after a couple of hours of gameplay). The narrative follows Astrid, whose plans for the festivities have encountered obstacles, requiring player intervention to resolve.

This year introduces a specific mini-game associated with the questline. Players will visit the House Valentione Patisserie where they are tasked with collecting ingredients to decorate cakes. This activity is performed against a time limit, with performance determining the amount of event currency, Valentione’s Day Chocolates, the player receives.
These chocolates can be exchanged for a variety of limited-time rewards. In terms of character customization, two new equipment sets are available: the Cozy Valentione Attire and the Comfy Valentione Attire. These winter-themed outfits feature cardigans with options for patterned trousers or skirts. The gear is gender-neutral and supports dual dye slots, allowing players to customize the colour of the hat patterns and boot stitching.
For housing decoration, the event offers a suite of furniture. This includes the Rolanberry Valentione Cake tabletop item, alongside a Valentione Round Table, Valentione Chair, and Valentione Rug. Additionally, a wall-mounted poster titled “Valentione’s Day MMXXV Advertisement” is available, displaying the artwork from the previous year’s event. Select Orchestrion Rolles are also available to obtain.
