With their 10th anniversary celebrations for the anime adaptation of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- now well and truly underway, Kadokawa Animation has shared even more around what’s in store for 2026. This includes the fourth season of the anime, which is set to begin broadcasting in Japan and through select international streaming platforms in April 2026.
A second main trailer has been released, providing a glimpse into the narrative that awaits protagonist Subaru Natsuki. The upcoming season picks up after the battle at the Watergate City of Priestella. While Subaru and his allies claimed victory, it came at a high cost due to the “Authority of Gluttony.” With Rem in an unending sleep and others suffering from memory loss, the group looks toward the Pleiades Watchtower in the Auguria Dunes. This dangerous location is home to the “wise man” Shaula, who reportedly possesses the knowledge required to reverse these effects. This trailer also releases alongside a new key artwork visual, available to the left.
Alongside the visual previews, details regarding the season’s musical direction have been finalised. The opening theme, titled “Recollect,” features a collaboration between returning Japanese artist Konomi Suzuki and American singer Ashnikko. The track features lyrics by TeddyLoid and Ashnikko, with music and arrangement by Giga and TeddyLoid.
Konomi Suzuki, who has provided vocals for previous seasons of the show, commented on the themes behind the new track and her continued involvement with the series:
With the feeling that I was fighting alongside them, I’ve been able to continue my career as a singer all the way to this point. Thank you, Subaru. Thank you, Re:ZERO. For the opening theme of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4, “Recollect,” I sang with the message of finding your way back to love, no matter how lost you may feel. Together with my strongest partner, Ashnikko, I want to celebrate Re:ZERO’s 10th anniversary to the fullest. Let’s enjoy it together!
Ashnikko also provided a statement, expressing her enthusiasm for the project as a long time fan of the anime;
i feel so honored to have been asked to work on and perform the opening song for season 4 of re:zero!!!! this is my favorite anime of all time and i can’t believe the stars aligned for this to happen! thank you to anime song queen konomi suzuki for being so welcoming and collaborative. so excited to promote this song and watch season 4 eeeeeeeeee
Beyond the new season, several projects have been organised to commemorate the 10th anniversary. The franchise’s first dedicated exhibition has been scheduled to run from 12 September to 4 October at the Shibuya BEAM Gallery in Tokyo. While specific contents of the exhibition are yet to be revealed, it aims to look back on the 10 year journey of the TV anime.

On the digital front, the official website has launched several interactive campaigns, including quizzes, a Q&A section with production staff, and an episode voting poll to determine the most memorable scene of the series. Fans should note that these website features are currently available in Japanese only and require ID registration.
Additionally, the official YouTube channel is hosting a “Premiere Streaming” project to air archival content. This initiative begins on 20 January with a marathon of web previews from Season 1. A special 10th anniversary digest video and the new Season 4 trailer are currently available to view online.
