Bandai Namco Entertainment have confirmed that their recent RPG release, Digimon Story Time Stranger, has now exceeded one million units sold globally. Coinciding with this sales milestone, the companies have shared the first details regarding the next major content drop for the title.
The second expansion included in the Season Pass is titled Additional Digimon & Episode Pack 2: GAKU-RAN. This update is currently scheduled for release in January 2026 on all supported platforms including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Players will, of course, require a copy of the base game to access the new content.
This DLC pack introduces specific content updates to both the narrative and the playable roster. The new story content features a special questline centered on Hiroko Sagisaka, who serves as one of the main characters in the base game. Furthermore, the pack adds new Digivolution routes for several Mega level Digimon. Confirmed additions include BanchoLillymon, BanchoStingmon, BanchoGolemon, and BanchoMamemon.
Digimon Story Time Stranger is a turn based RPG set against the backdrop of the human world and a digital realm known as Iliad. The narrative tasks players with taming Digimon and traversing between these two worlds, as well as traveling across time, to prevent an impending ruin. The game features over 450 unique Digimon to recruit, train, and utilize in strategic combat encounters.
