In the second half of last year, Prototype announced that alongside their past Playstation 2, Playstation Portable and Playstation Vita conversions of the Little Busters! visual novel… they would also be bringing it to the Playstation 3 this year. This edition, once again titled “Little Busters! Converted Edition” (リトルバスターズ！Converted Edition) is set to appear in store shelves within Japan on the 20th March 2013 and to mark this impending release the opening sequence for the title has been shared. Unless I am mistaken in some way – while featuring the exact same opening theme as Little Busters Ecstasy, the animation of it has been altered a bit.
Little Busters! is a visual novel developed by the Japanese studio Key and initially published by Visual Arts. Prototype have handled all conversions of this title, as well as the port of the spin-off title Kud Wafter: Converted Edition for the Playstation Portable. While there is a fully completed fan-translation for the title if you own the original PC release (Ecstasy has not yet been fully translated on last check), there have been no official releases of the visual novel series to the international market. However, the currently being run anime for the series has been picked up for international simulcast and eventually release.
