Off the back of Umamusume: Pretty Derby’s success in western markets, CyGames has confirmed it has renewed its partnership with Breeders’ Cup Limited for a second consecutive year, confirming title sponsorship of the Cygames Breeders’ Cup Sprint during the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
This year’s Breeders’ Cup will run from 31 October to 1 November at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in Del Mar, California, featuring fourteen Grade 1 races across two days with more than 34 million USD in purses and awards. The Cygames Breeders’ Cup Sprint is slated for 1 November, contested over 1,200 meters six furlongs on dirt for male and female horses aged three and up, with a purse of 2 million USD.
As part of the sponsorship, the Cygames logo will appear on the race’s starting gate and on the saddle towels of competing horses.
