Publisher GIANTS Software and developer Straight4 Studios used Tokyo Game Show to outline new content and multiplayer plans for Project Motor Racing. The studio confirmed six additional manufacturers, seven cars, the inclusion of Sebring International Raceway, and a structured approach to online competition that positions ranked racing as a core feature. The game is scheduled to launch on 25 November 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The multiplayer suite is pitched as a full-service package at release. Players can expect cross-play monthly championships with weekly track rotations, two leaderboard modes that reference real-world lap times and endurance events, custom lobbies with user-defined rules, short-form social races, and ranked championships with matchmaking and per-class grids. Progression begins with a license test at Lime Rock Park, followed by a 0 to 100 driver rating that informs skill-based splits across platforms.
On the car front, the roster grows across multiple eras. Newly announced partners include Acura, Chevrolet, Mazda, Mercedes-AMG, Nissan and Toyota. Headliners range from the Mazda 787B to current GT entrants, with the list comprising the 2022 Acura NSX GT3 Evo 22, 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, 2017 Mazda MX-5 Spec and 1991 Mazda 787B, 2020 Mercedes-AMG GT3, 2023 Nissan Z GT4, and 2023 Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo.
Track additions continue with Sebring International Raceway, bringing its mix of concrete bumps, long straights and technical complexes to the game’s circuit pool. The studio also referenced a single-player career described as a survival-style challenge alongside the online options.
