Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of one of their flagship franchises, Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed they will be releasing a God of War 20th Anniversary Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller on 23 October 2025.
Like other limited edition controllers, there is an increased price point of $134.95 AUD, along with the limited availability. Pre-orders will open at select retailers at 10.00am on Friday 3 October 2025 (local time).
The design takes cues from Kratos’ Ghost of Sparta look, pairing an ash toned finish with a scarlet tattoo motif. Sony pitches the special edition as a nod to two decades of God of War across four console generations, two handhelds and more than a dozen games, starting with Santa Monica Studio’s original PlayStation 2 release.
