FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a new gameplay mode for their recently released co-op action survival game, Elden Ring Nightreign. Titled Deep of Night, the mode is available now to all players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam as part of a free update.
Positioned as a tougher option for the already relatively tough roguelike, Deep of Night introduces escalating challenge tiers tied to a ranking system. Players earn a rank by completing runs. As ratings increase and milestone ranks are crossed, the difficulty scales up accordingly to provide progressively harder encounters.
No additional purchase is required to access the mode, which is included in today’s update across all supported platforms.
