Bringing across a fresh suite of games to the Nintendo Switch 2 that they weren’t able to with the Nintendo Switch, SEGA has confirmed that Persona 3 Reload and both Yakuza Kiwami remakes will join the Nintendo Switch 2 library in the final quarter of 2025, expanding the system’s line-up of major Japanese titles.
Persona 3 Reload arrives first on 23 October 2025, bringing the remake of the PS2 cult-classic RPG to Nintendo platforms for the first time. Players once again step into the role of a high-school transfer student who discovers the secret Dark Hour hidden between calendar days, summoning powerful Personas to battle shadowy creatures while navigating everyday school life. The Switch 2 release features the same modernised visuals, reworked battle system and new English voice cast that debuted on other platforms last year.
Yakuza Kiwami and its sequel, Yakuza Kiwami 2, follow on 13 November 2025. The first game retells the original 2005 crime drama with updated combat, added story beats and a wealth of side activities set in Kamurocho. Yakuza Kiwami 2 continues the saga of Kazuma Kiryu as a brewing turf war pits him against Osaka’s Ryuji Goda. Both titles will support additional text languages on Switch 2, covering French, Italian, German, European Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian languages for the first time.
