Bandai Card Games has opened sign-ups for a worldwide closed beta test of Digimon Alysion, the first mobile adaptation of the popular Digimon Card Game. Up to 10,000 players across Android and iOS will be selected to try the game in August, with applications accepted at via the game’s official website between now and 3 August 2025.
Revealed during Digimon Con 2025, Digimon Alysion aims to replicate the fast-paced strategy of the physical card game while introducing a new original storyline set in the universe of the Digimon Liberator comic and novel. Players will be able to construct customised decks, battle opponents online and discover fresh Digimon that follow never-before-seen evolution lines.
Bandai Card Games have shared that the closed beta will help stress-test servers and gather targeted feedback to refine gameplay ahead of launch. No exact release window has been confirmed as of writing.
Fans who miss out on the test can expect additional information – including launch timing and feature breakdowns – once the closed beta concludes.
