Fans of Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra have a new mystery to unravel with the launch of “Scene 0 Part I,” the latest event quest now live in-game. Available now, players can explore a brand-new story that dives into the origins of the magical girls, guided by a scenario penned by Vio Shimokura of Nitroplus. This event commemorates the 10th anniversary of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, promising a fully voiced, narrative-driven experience that will appeal to new and veteran fans alike.
At the heart of “Scene 0 Part I” is Mabayu Aki, a student at Mitakihara Middle School, who suddenly finds herself alone as time freezes for everyone but her. Her search for answers soon pulls her into even stranger happenings – and introduces her to a certain magical girl. Players who clear the event can earn exclusive portraits, including “Granting Impossible Miracles,” and other rewards such as Magica Stones. The event is available until 11:59 on 30 June 2025, after which it will be incorporated into the main quest. Those who have completed “The Fourth Window Into Memory [Dessert Witch] BOSS” in the main quest can jump straight into this latest chapter.
To celebrate the launch, the game is offering a free daily Fate Weave pull, giving everyone a chance to earn powerful new Kioku, including the debut of 5★ [Hollow Woman] Mabayu Aki. Collecting 15 Kioku Medals allows players to exchange them for a guaranteed 5★ Kioku Magia Key, with daily free draws running throughout the event period. Other featured 5★ Kioku include favourites such as Mami Tomoe, Kyoko Sakura, Rena Minami, Momoko Togame, and Kaede Akino.
Alongside the story event, a special login bonus campaign grants players a limited edition “Forgotten Antinomy” portrait, illustrated by Junichiro Taniguchi, with up to six available simply by logging in each day. Meanwhile, the new “Chaos” mode adds an extra layer of challenge to the main quest. This mode features boss-only battles with unique challenge missions, rewarding players with exclusive titles for first-time clears. Unlocking “Chaos” mode requires clearing “Window Into Memory [Needle Witch] BOSS” in the “Puella Magi Oriko☆Magica” Nightmare quest.
