Kuro Games has outlined what players can expect from Version 2.4 of Wuthering Waves, set to launch across all platforms on 12 June. Titled Lightly We Toss the Crown, this update introduces two new Resonators to add to your party should lady luck shine upon you – Cartethyia and Lupa – alongside the debut of the Septimont region, new outfits, echoes, events, and a range of gameplay improvements.
At the centre of the update are two new main story chapters, Shadow of Glory and Flames of Heart, which continue the ongoing narrative. Players will also be able to claim 10 Radiant Tide through the “Gifts of Grand Opening” event, available via in-game mail.
The Septimont region opens up fresh exploration opportunities, while several new Echoes – such as Lioness of Glory, Nightmare: Kelpie, and Spectro Drake – expand combat options. Additional Phantom Echoes and new Sonata Effects are being introduced, giving players more ways to customise their teams and strategies. Two new deluxe outfits, Laurel Nymph for Changli and Splashing Summer for Carlotta, will also become available.
Other features include a new permanent challenge mode, Banners Never Fall, as well as a Tactical Hologram: Kelpie challenge. The update also brings a number of optimisations, including an improved in-game guide depot for Resonator builds and team composition, a quest focus mode to streamline progression, and a global visual filter option for PC, PlayStation 5, and Mac players.
Several limited-time events are also planned around the launch, such as The Everglorious Summit area exploration event, Septimont Travel Atlas, and a 7-day login event titled Gifts of Applause.
