Following more than 300 performances, Michael Casse Group has confirmed that the musical parody Titanique will end its Australian voyage at Sydney’s Grand Electric on 22 June 2025. As of writing, this remains a Sydney-exclusive season within Australia, and will not be journeying to any other state at this time.
The high-camp send-up of Titanic, reimagined with Céline Dion at the centre of the story, transforms James Cameron’s 1997 film into a theatrical comedy cruise. Featuring Dion’s signature songs and commentary, the show re-tells the doomed romance of Jack and Rose with absurd humour and a hefty dose of glamour.
The production stars Marney McQueen as Céline Dion, with Georgina Hopson as Rose and Drew Weston as Jack. The cast also includes Keane Sheppard-Fletcher, Matt Lee, Stephen Anderson, Abigail Dixon and Abu—who plays both The Seaman and The Iceberg. The ensemble is supported by Jo-Anne Jackson, Jenni Little and Trent Owers, with Artemis Alfonzetti, Matthew Predny and Tyran Stig joining for the final weeks.
