Udon Entertainment has announced two new Capcom-themed comic book releases scheduled for July 2025, featuring characters from Darkstalkers and Street Fighter. These titles mark the start of a new crossover arc and a spotlight story ahead of a major game appearance.
The first title, Darkstalkers X Street Fighter: Blood Throne #1, brings together characters from both franchises as they face a supernatural threat. When Cammy, Charlie, Felicia, Talbain, and others find themselves—and half the city of Chicago—trapped in the Darkstalker dimension, a temporary truce is needed to fight off demonic forces. However, tensions may prove just as dangerous as their enemies. The 32-page full-colour comic is written by Tim Seeley and illustrated by Alberto Alburquerque, and is expected to begin a storyline that will continue into 2026.
The second release, Street Fighter Masters: Elena #1, is a 32-page one-shot comic focused on the capoeira fighter Elena. Written by Jim Zub with artwork by Genzoman, the story sees Elena returning to her home village in Kenya, joined by fellow martial artists Ibuki and Makoto. Together, they face off against a new threat tied to the mysterious organisation Vortex, first introduced in Street Fighter Prime #0. This release coincides with Elena’s reappearance in Street Fighter 6.
Both titles will be available through comic book retailers via Diamond Comic Distributors, Lunar Distribution, and Universal Distribution, as well as online via the Udon Store. A range of variant covers will also be offered, featuring artwork from creators including Reiq, Alé Garza, and Mirka Andolfo.
