Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed a trio of already announced titles will be coming to the recently announced Nintendo Switch 2, including Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, Shadow Labyrinth, and Tamagotchi Plaza. Each game brings a different genre and legacy to the platform, with release dates set across 2025.
Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will bring the full Elden Ring experience, developed by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., to the Nintendo Switch 2. This all-in-one version includes the original game alongside the major expansion Shadow of the Erdtree. It will also introduce additional content, such as new armour, weapons, and visual customisation options for Torrent, the player’s spectral steed. The Tarnished Edition is scheduled to launch in 2025, with its new content also available on other platforms.
Also confirmed is Shadow Labyrinth, a 2D action platformer developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc. The game offers a darker, science-fiction reimagining of classic arcade titles, including Pac-Man. Set in a maze-like alien world, players will explore, battle, and evolve, aiming to become the dominant predator in a hostile environment. Shadow Labyrinth will launch on 18 July 2025 for Nintendo Switch, with preorders available now. A Nintendo Switch 2 release is also planned, with preorders to be announced in the future.
Rounding out the slate is Tamagotchi Plaza, a casual simulation game inspired by the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series. Players will manage various shops in Tamahiko Town, interacting with over 100 different Tamagotchi characters. The game will also support the Tamagotchi Uni device. Tamagotchi Plaza is set to release on 27 June 2025 for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
