Neptunia Re;Birth Trilogy Set for PlayStation 4 Release in 2025

Idea Factory International has announced that the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth trilogy will be coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2025. Previously released on the PlayStation Vita, the trilogy includes Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 +, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation. All three titles will be available both physically and digitally in North America and Europe. Further details regarding the physical editions and PlayStation Store listings for the trilogy will be shared at a later date.

The trilogy offers fans of the Neptunia series, as well as newcomers, an opportunity to revisit or discover the satirical and self-aware RPG universe of Gamindustri, featuring fast-paced, turn-based battles and meta-humour.

In Re;Birth1, players follow Neptune, a fallen Goddess who loses her memory and sets out on a journey to save Gamindustri with the help of companions Compa, IF, and the sentient book Histoire. The game features customisable battles with up to six characters and the Plan system, allowing players to adjust game difficulty and rewards.

Re;Birth2 introduces a new threat in the form of the Arfoire Syndicate of International Crime (ASIC), which has led Gamindustri into disarray. Players can form parties of up to four active characters with four more in reserve, use the Plan system to tailor gameplay, and send characters on automated dungeon runs in the Stella’s Dungeon mini-game.

Re;Birth3 transports Neptune to an alternate 1980s-style dimension of Gamindustri, where she must gather shares and battle the Seven Sages to return home. The game expands on combat customisation with combo-based attack systems and enhances the Stella’s Dungeon feature by allowing support characters to assist.
