While I feel that with a new console gen, Nintendo could have gone big and announced a brand new Mario Party title, instead they have announced that a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive edition of Super Mario Party Janboree is on its way.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV is set to release on 24 July 2025. This new version will feature a variety of fresh modes and minigames designed to take advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2‘s new capabilities, including mouse controls, the built-in mic, and the optional Nintendo Switch 2 camera.
A highlight of the new game is Bowser Live, a game show-themed experience where players will face off in 2v2 team battles and physical challenges. However, teams that lose will face penalties from Bowser himself.
